There is a Perisai Diri Pentjak Silat group taught by Master Yana Sastranegara someplace in Manhattan, don't know the address offhand, but I heard he's in a dance studio in the West 20's (?)...you might want to call the Indonesian Counsulate for this one, they might have an idea where he is...might be in the Yellow Pages, too.
If you don't mind travelling, there is also a Jagabaya-certified Mande Muda Silat group in Lindenhurst, Long Island (Suffolk County), you might wanna check out
www.mandemuda.com
for the contact numbers...
In Jersey, near Princeton, is the Gayong Warrior Arts Academy--taught by the most excellent Cigku Sulaiman Sharif...the system is Silat Seni Gayong from Malaysia, and it's brilliant stuff...check it out at:
www.gayong.com
The Gayong school might seem really far for you, but there are friends of mine that live in the City that make the trip via train every week, and they say it's totally worth it...have met the guy (Cigku Sulaiman), I believe them.
Why not explore Pekiti-Tirsia? Has a lot of Silat within its empty-hand system...

Hock's Archipelago Combatives program may also appeal to you...

That's all I can think of for now...good luck.
