i was looking at a penn captiva 60 to put on an ugly stik for mostly freshwater fishing for pike cats musky etc
i was not sure if i should pick the penn or a quantum triax 60 and i it will be ocean fishing about once a year with it
thanks

I have the Captiva. I use it exclusively for Saltwater. The liveliner feature is a must when chunking for blues and Stripers.

Mine is a 4000, it's a really good real for under $100. Not as smooth as my more expensive spinners, but built pretty tough.

I never use it for Freshwater, as I don't fish for heavy fish like Musky, carp, or Cats much and I prefer lighter reels for freshwater.

My girlfriend has been fishing one for our last several trips to the coast. No complaints considering the price.
