Some time back I happened upon a documentary about them. Showed how they got together and something of their lives and homes in Vegas. Does anyone know where/if this is available?

Actually, no--this was a documentary about Penn and Teller themselves. IIRC it dissected some of their magic tricks, Teller spoke, and it showed something of their homes near Vegas.

However, I highly recommend their Bullshit series to anyone--both seasons 1 and 2 are on DVD and season 3 will start showing later this year on Showtime.

Probably Grand Illusions: The Story of Magic, episode name The Greats of Modern Magic.

I remember watching a program about their homes on The Learning Channel and I believe Teller spoke during the program.

I think it was called "Celebrity Homes" or "Famous Homes" or something like that. Haven't seen the series up here for about a year.

Penn and Teller have an official website where you might be able to obtain more information.

Penn and Teller are favorites with the skeptic crowd, we frequently have posts concerning their stuff on the James Randi board.

They were auctioning off tours (for charity) of Penn's residence, "The Slammer".

Interesting place, he has a crime-scene outline of Teller in the kitchen...

There was also a series that I was catching on one of the Discovery channels on the history of stage magic, and they would frequently do commentary on classic tricks. Very nice segment on the "catch a bullet" trick and it's history.

Thanks to all for replies. Unfortunately I had already tried the P&T site and came up empty. Odds are good it was the Grand Illusions show as some of their magic was dissected. Unfortunately Discovery has zilch on their site, either in the main site or in the store. Ditto Bravo--I know the show was on one of their networks but can't remember which one.

I guess I should have taped what I managed to run across at the time.
