OK, I had to do it. I've been hearing about Alabama Oosic mini's for years now and I've had this on my mind since smoking that boar coon that killed about 18 of my chickens a couple years back...so here we go...

This knife totals 2 1/2" with a fully HT'ed and sharp blade of high carbon "frontier" damascus steel (flat ground with a convex edge, like I normally do). The guard and butt-cap are stippled nickle-silver. The handle is "PA Oosic" (raccoon penal bone) with a red cow bone throat and silver spacer. The knife has a tooled leather sheath by Tess, of course and a small display box. Time to make another big knife.
:D

Hi j,
Post us a pic of the ends of your fingers. I know there can't be much left after making this little thing. I understand the "lets make a big knife"comment.
You've got grit ,buddy.
I take delivery of my Ron Claiborn press in May. Happy days, Fred

Very cool J. I know making mini's can be troublesome, "lets make a big knife" seems to me if ya rub that one a few times it should be instant big:D

Holy crap did I say that:eek:

Is the tang/blade juncture radiused? I just want to know if it'd be safe to baton with... :D

Beautiful, J.

Warren

Thanks guys, I appreciate the good comments.

I've got a sale pending on it Rene but, I'll let you know. I promise no jokes about why Alicia likes the knife.
:D :foot: :o
