This knife is for an order. It is the nicest piece of stag I have had the pleasure to work with. Thanks to my friends at AKS. they have nice stag. Bolster is wrought iron, butt cap is pure iron. Blade is 7 1/2, OAL is 12 3/4"

That doesn't look like a chef's knife to me.:p

It looks great. Beautiful steel and stag. I love half penny guards. The carved butt always looks good, in my opinion.

I don't think it looks like a chef's knife either....but I am not a chef:D

It is a NICE knife however. Great looking damascus and popcorn stag, and the butcap looks cool too.

Pleasure seeing it Dave.

:eek:That looks great!! Beautiful Damascus, great guard, and beautiful stag:thumbup:

That is very sweet - bold damascus pattern and beautiful popcorn stag.

Nice butt, Dave! I get a kick out of the faces you cut into your butt plates.

The rest of the knife is great as well.

Looks like you raided Chuck's private stash of stag.

those chiselled faces are just too sweet. One of the reasons I like your work so much! But, the flowing lines and awesome pattern welded steel are pretty compelling reasons, too.

REALLY outstanding Dave! Ever since seeing one of you chiseled buttcap knives at Blade I have been wanting one. I may have to give you a call soon. Now, box it up and send it to me for a rawhide sheath!

Thanks very much everyone. And I meant to spell chief not chef, spell check doesn't read minds very well.
