Pentagon Light out of business

SF was (IMO) scared of Pentagonlight's growing line of (and some say superior) weaponlights, not so much the handhelds.

Interestingly, Pelican uses an almost identical tailcap as Pentagonlight did; i.e. a screw cap with a two piece plunger set-up.

pelican tailcaps on the M1 xenon light is interchangeable with surefire c series. this was never about patent or claims, it's about competition elimination. I doubt surefire has the financial power to take on pelican at this time in a drag-out court fight.

thats how i'm seeing it too.

as for a lawsuit against Pelican by surefire,.......Pelican would mop the floor with surefire. :D:D

How?Why?

If the tailcaps are the same in function they very well could have an agreement togather.
