people at IG's this weekend?

I heard a rumor at the CT show this past weekend that if I asked real nice and said I'ld try some relish I might just possibly be able to stop by and visit if folks are working at IG's shop this weekend. I'm up visiting my folks for a litttle while after the show. I'll even promise to get a knife done by the blade show so people can see.

Wayne, sounds good to me. Bring a tent and you can camp out in the backyard. I'll be getting my Indian running this weekend for sure.

Who was spread those rumors??? OH!!! I have one condition, you must eat a teaspoon full of my relish. HEHEHE!!! Only kidding. Give me a call 508 999 7090 no later than 8:00pm. I get home from work about 5:15pm. I am off today but getting some minor surgery done this afternoon and doing errands in the AM.
 
IG, minor surgery? I hope it goes well! you have to be in one piece and able to be abused this coming weekend, you know.I think IG wears one of those velcro targets on his back when engaged in social events. Everyone wants a shot! Seriously, heal well and quick, George.

It is oral surgery. It would suck if I couldn't talk I wouldn't be able to give any verbal abuse out. :grumpy: :D
 
IG, glad to hear that your cicle will be running soon, (was going to say "this weekend", but ya never know).

I'll definately be up on Saturday, in the cage, gotta pick up the guitar or else I'd take the scooter.

i really hope to make it by. i feel left out i havent had enough harassing lately.... but i have work at 4 unfortunately. hey IG my father knows someone over on the island interested in making knives.... we're gonna give him all the NECKA info, try to get another member
 
IG's computer is down again so if any of you need to get in touch with him he'll be on sooner or later he said. and as far as i know this weekdn is still the same
 
We are still on Paul Sabin will be here too. I fix this piece of crap of a puter. So god knows how long it will be work'g.

No problem IG, give me the formula (ie, 10 squirts on carb, choke 1/2 way, 2 prime kicks, key on, etc), I'll be over in the AM, hope your trip to the dentist worked out alright. Got some Sammy to bring over. :D :D :cool:

Ended up with 5 guys over here. Wayne did well with the HT relish and Damascus making. He gave me a cool titanium spatuler. Thanks dude.
He made up 3 billets 2 @cable and 1 @40 layer. :D
 
I had a great time forging and talking. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and offered comments on my work, and 'specially to IG and Michael for teaching about forging damascus. From what I saw IG might have to find a new grasshooper soon. His current one is outgrowing that title real fast.

No Problem Insanity. i always enjoy teaching what IG has taught me. Just wish i had more time to go over everythin with you, but i'm sure IG gave you all the info! He's a hell of a generous dude. i can't wait to see how that steel looks i knife form. keep us updated!
 
I'm sure a great time was had by all! I wanna know, did you all line up before you left IG's and all throw dog doo at his neighbor? You know, "On the count of three, one, two, three, throw"! IG says if his neighbor doesn't straighten up, IG is going to train his neighbor to retreive the "yard rockets".

My neighbor didn't even come over this past weekend. He knows that it will be more than dog turds I'll be throwing at him. I got to get a big dog or super glue the turds together to get more weight so the can go further. :eek: :D :D

Wayne post a pic of the buckeye burl I gave you too. When it is on a knife. :D :D The next time you are up, come on down. :D
 
As soon as I get home I have a plan for a knife useing that burl and a peice of the damascus I made. I'll post pics as soon as I get some work done.
