People cutting themselves on your knife?

I've noticed that unless I say explicitly, "Be careful it's sharp," people will wind up cutting themselves on my knives. Then when I began warning people, they should shrug it off and say stuff like "Oh that's okay I'm use to sharp knives," and then would act like it wasn't anything to be afraid of. So then I stopped warning people, and either they would cut themselves, or cut whatever it was they needed to and shout "Wow that's sharp!" as if you should have warned them.

Can't win on that it seems. I'm just going to start saying "Don't cut yourself."

Well only about 100 people have cut themselves with my knives.
Every time I warn people and they just seem to not listen.
Then again a few of them obviously have no idea how to even handle a knife.
I cut myself when I first opened my tenacious at the beginning of this year, I got yelled at by my friend to be careful. She then handled the same knife and cut herself, proceeding to say "Wow That's Sharp!".
I rolled my eyes.
Like "Nooo, Really?! I just cut myself with it."

One time, my roommate accidentally cut himself with my santoku while he was fixing himself some dinner. A couple weeks before that, I cut myself with it chopping onions. The thing's out for blood.

I once read that the best way to lose a friend is to lend a knife. I don't think it was meant that they would injure themselves.. more like they'd return the knife in worse condition and upset the owner.
