I get email everyday now saying, "I clicked the link and got a sign saying the forum was temporarily disabled." Where is the HI forum?

It doesn't do any good to post how to get here in the forum so I have to email each one separately and tell them to click on the makers/manufacturers forum and look for the new HI forum.

Ideas? Suggestions?

Bill Oji-chan, I think they are following the link from the Himalayan Imports site, which links to the old (Temp Disabled) forum. Although the forum we're using right now has the same name as the old HI forum, if you look at the query string in the URL it looks like the one we're using is forum #65, the old one is forum #53. The HI website is still linking to the old (#53) forum.

If you change the link on the HI site so that it says "archived forum", and make up an additional one that goes to the current forum I think everything should be okay.

Hope this helps!

I now have both the old and new HI forums bookmarked now. I went to the old one to do a search and discovered the following:

I did a username search for two of the newer forumites, (myself included) and the search had zero results.

Then, I did a search for Martino, and only came up with about 5 pages of postings. The dates were from 3/7/99 to 5/29/00.

I went into the old forum just to see how long it took to get to 18,000 posts again.
What was interesting to me is that on the very last page (page 30) is my three attempts to post about the YCS and at the bottom of those posts the user is listed as not registered. Kinda strange they were where the old forums was 1st started rather than when it was closed.

I can only get there by the URL Blues posted as I can't find it anywhere else. Hmmm, perhaps I can save it in my favorites.
