Question People You Follow alerts?

Howdy folks.

I am reasonably bulletin board savvy, mostly vbulletin though. I know how to set up forum and thread alerts, but can I do that for people? Will I get an email when a person I follow posts? If not, is there a way to set that up?

I tried to do the same for certain members but was unable. I believe it is currently only set up to alert it they host a sub forum.
