Today at work a lady asked if I had a knife she could use to pull a spinter from her finger. I pulled out my Spydie Worker and handed it to here. She promtly pushes the point into her finger about 1/8". Then gets mad "what you trying to do, cut my finger off! What you need such a sharp knife for." Go figure.

Been there, done that. A coworker, knowing that I always had a sharp blade on me asked to borrow my Spyderco Worker for the same reason, in the process of removing the splinter he slipped and sliced his thumb in the process, this required 4 stitches. We still laugh about it, and now when he gets a splinter I remove it.:)
