Are there any of these left for purchase? or did I miss the INFI boat on this one? That is an AWESOME little shaker

Alphamaniv,

These are still available. This particular one took the Blue Bird Express out East.

Thanks,

Jerry

WHAT!! You went back to 1/4" and no one told me? :) What a happy day. Not saying that I didn't like the one in 3/16" but you KNOW how I get about 1/4" INFI ;) :D

Jerry, you are a cruel man.
Stop doing that to me
Some minutes ago I opened the package with the BAD, and now THIS!
This time I can resist
Really
I can stop it anytime I want to.....

Good Evening All-

This particular one took the Blue Bird Express out East.

Thanks,

Jerry

Hopefully the sweet-looking Pepper Shaker pictured above is enroute to THIS particular navy-colored, eastern fowl! Jerry, thanks for your help with this lil' cutter.

Blue Jays,

That is yours indeed. Be careful with it. . . it already made a hat for itself out of the tip of my left index finger. ;)

Good Afternoon All-

Jerry, when you said you were going to "put some extra elbow grease" into the knife, I only took that as a figure of speech. Didn't think you were going to include an actual genetic sample with the blade.

The concept of the Busse Combat Epidermis Mini-Sheath TM would have to be a very limited-run option from Wauseon, due to the scarce availability of raw materials. ;)

See y'all later,

Congrats on your Pepper Shaker Bluejays!! Hopefully,
they will start rolling off of the production line now.;)

Oh my god!! that's funny!

I think I'm going to order a pepper shaker and have Gary Greeley work up a combo sheath for it and my Inova X-5. ought to make a great working pair!

Lunumbra-

Do you have a link for Gary Greeley to see some of his work?

My intention is to use this as a neck knife, but it might be nice to have it mounted horizontally on my waist at other times. Coupling it with a small flashlight would be kind of cool.

So, are some 1/4" and some 3/16"?

Dark Nemesis and Andrew, the arrangements for the 1/4" INFI and double-cut/beadblasted finish on my Pepper Shaker (PS) were made through Contender (Marc Fratello) at the time the knife was ordered in the early part of 2002. Traditionally, the PS is done in 3/16" stock. If you need them, I have Marc's numbers written in my calendar at work and can edit this post on Monday if requested.

Because it is such a small knife, it is tough to "hold onto" at the grinding wheel. That's the reason that Jerry can't crank these out in huge numbers. Per his earlier post, my lil' Shaker apparently had a temper tantrum and turned around and took a chomp out of Jerry's left index finger. Well, at least I know this PS is feisty!

Hope that helps,

~ Blue Jays ~

Just like a child who would strike out at his own parents, a knife that would bite its creator is something to be very careful around.
