Here' another scabbard story. This is a perfect 15 inch Sirupati by the new kami team of Jag and Prem. The scabbard got busted up so I dug thru my pile of extras and found the one you see in the pix. The only problem with this entire rig is the scabbard is about 1 & 1/2 inches longer than it should be.

So, save yourself $25 and get more scabbard to boot in this deal.

We'll deliver this rig to your door for $75. If you can't tolerate the oversize scabbard there is always Terry Sisco ready and waiting to make you one of the best custom scabbards you can find anywhere.

Thank goodness I am broke, cause if I had any $$ I would be giving you and Terry a e-mail.

The specials have been slow the past week or so.... are you guys getting your fill of Kuks? What is going on?

good one beezer

It looks like the "old guard" has already spent this month's paychecks, and us new guys are going to have to take up the slack. This one doesn't interest me, though. (Maybe the virus is in remission?)

"Old Guard"....Ha!!! This one went to a geezer, Beezer.

There is some infection in western NC, but I will spread it toward the coast!!!

I saw this when it was first posted and I almost went for it! I'm saving for a 15inch Salyan though!

Uhmm, Wal,

I thought that you would have to move in with me if you got another kuk this year? Since my living quarters are kind of unstable right now, isn't that a little risky? Or is mom giving you a break since you are giving away your collection???

BTW... you don't know how close I came to buying this one today

Since I got the Kobra, I have REALLY had to control the urge to buy a UBDOTD...

Of course then you're fully liable for all the symptoms and syndromes of HIKV and have taken the bait hook, line and sinker.

I've spent the morning with my new "J&P" Sirupati. The blade could have been CNC machined, and takes an edge (finally) like nothing else I've honed for a while. The sweet spot is right at 60 RC, and the tip just noticeably softer. The 3" in front of the cho will go about 57-8, as on the others I've honed so far.

The horn suffered in it's travels, but only the hair-line cracks (3) that are now super-glued and holding well.

This is my latest candidate for a CCW blade. The length and nimble handling are about perfect (even though the Malla is still No. 1) and Terry's break-front high ride will be its' new home before too long.
