Perfect 20" Sirupati by Kumar but I'm calling it a blem. Pix and bargain.

This is a 20 inch, 1 pound, 7 oz. Sirupati by Kumar and it is a 10 out of 10 effort. Everything about this khukuri including the karda and chakma is perfect. Hardened up to about 60 Rc and it has the HI habaki style bolster. The finish is better than magic stone mirror as you might be able to tell from the reflections you see in the pix above. Best finish I have seen to date.

The problem with this knife is one of cosmetics. There are minor rust spots. If you look closely at the closeup pix you should be able to see about 4 spots. They are not deep and can be buffed out but I am too busy with other stuff to get this done.

The scabbard is by the sarki with no name and is very nicely done with tashi dili symbols tooled. Frog is 100 year HI superfrog.

I will deliver this knife to your door for $95 and you save $30. You can buff the rust spots out in probably less than an hour so spend an hour buffing and save the $30.

And, the edge is sharp enough to take a couple of hair off my arm and also cut a little nick in my thumb.

Got the knife this weekend. So like where is this rust? This piece is 99% perfect. The only flaw is a loose sheath. A very nice knife.
