This is a Seiko 5 Sports Watch with the 7S26 movement except it has 2 extra jewels (23) and it is labeled a 7S36 (strictly made in Japan) movement. The gray face and timer ring caught my eye because of the contrasting white text and numerals. That Grass Green second hand sealed the deal and I pried it off of the pitiful bracelet it arrived on and gave it a Black Zulu strap for simplicity. The 0.2 second increments on the face added to the smooth spirit of this watch face. The English/Arabic day wheel was a bonus when I bought it. The minute hand is perfect for this watch. It's a smooth rotation of 21,600 bph so it has no quartzelike definition. Crisp and easy to read and precise to 20 seconds a day. I didn't say accurate I said precise, look it up.

Those Seiko 5's are great watches for the money. I've got 2 of them and use the Seiko 5 Sports often during hiking and canoeing trips. I'm not sure of the model number of my Seiko 5 Sports, but the other one is a Seiko 5 Aviator, SNK809K2. The last one, I own it for 3 years now and still runs great.
