Perfect knife?

Hi, I just thought I would share. I think I have found the perfect knife for me. It’s handy, easy to carry and very good looking (stag handle) – it’s a Schrade PH2. I know it is a production knife, but I have been looking for a small fixed blade with stag handle, not more expensive than I can use it with good conscious. I must admit that I don’t dare to use my customs – it’s a shame, but that’s how it is.

Regards Carl :)

Well, I suppose the "Perfect knife" is one you will
actually use as opposed to collectors knives which
we all to many of:D :D

Carl,

I'm glad you ended your comment with "for me." Usually someone replies that there is no perfect knife, or he thinks you're slamming his favorite brand.

I, too, have found the perfect knife. The biggest concern was could I actually use the knife without being afraid to scratch it. I have OCD, and the result is that I have far too many drawer queens.

Next, was function and length. I needed a one-hand opener knife at about 3.5 inches. It needed a good lock.

I also wanted modern steel, anywhere from 154-CM up to the new S30V.

I also like the corrosion resistance of titanium and carbon fiber or G-10.

A proper warranty was a no-brainer.

I chose the Strider SnG. Sure, I loved the AR, but it was a tad to big "FOR ME" in most daily circumstances. It's tough, it cuts well, it sharpens great and Mick can rebuild it. Sure, I still needed a fixed blade for camping, but this folder did it for the EDC.

For me, the perfect knife would be my Gerber Yari, but with a 7 inch blade.
