Just finished this one. Needs some tweaking but this is the prototype and I don't recall ever seeing one with three fixed blades on one sheath. I'm going to change it up and add the Esee survival pouch with tin on the front, with the Izula behind it. I haven't decided on a belt attachment yet. Tek Lok, Drop loop, or my custom belt loops. Maybe a bandolier is needed (it's 3 lbs 3 oz.). Then it should have everything and be "Perfect". :D

A tad gimmicky but I had a hard weekend and wanted to have a little fun in the shop today.

Nice job on the sheath set up, looks pretty compact for having three knives. I like the idea of having two knives, one large and one small, attached together but had thought it would be too bulky.

Thanks zig zag. This would be a very specialized rig for someone. As a matter of fact, I have done many piggyback rigs over the years with two knives and frequently carry one myself when out in the woods for a few days. You might say it's my specialty. One of these pics is a left hand model I carry frequently. Knives on the left (weak side) and pistol on the right (strong side)The Esee 6 and Izula make a great combo. Becker BK7 or BK9 and a smaller Becker work well also. Survive!Knives GSO 10 and a 3.5 or 4.1 is a great combo too. Large knife for wood processing and shelter building. A small knife for camp chores, food prep, and feather sticks, etc.

That looks cool, I like it. Might not be practical to carry on your hip but would be a great way to carry knives together in a bag or kit.

I'm not trying to spoil your victory dance, but I do recall seeing a rig for 3 (not sure if leather or synthetics) knives a long while ago in Muela's catalog.

Great work by the way!

I'd mount that sucker to a pack. If you have a pack with webbing underneath, that would be perfect.

Nice work on the sheaths and mounting them together. As to the question of whether you need 3 knives : who cares? ;) it's your choice.

You need an Arrowhead mounted in front of the Izula. :D

If you haven't tried it, you might pick up some rubber brake hose from an auto parts store and give it a shot in place of the washers. You can cut it to different lengths for angling and it squishes a lot more to give you some adjustment. The lettering can be wiped off with acetone.

Yep Dave_M, all of my sheaths are molle compatible. As a matter of fact, I carry that Esee Junglas normally strapped to the side of my pack with molle locks.

Thanks Khia. I've long admired your work and the stuff you do for Guy at S!K is phenomenal.

Holy crap! The Esee arrowhead added to the front.

I tried different hoses over time and they work well but didn't have any. The washers worked and were in the shop at the time. Usually they work well as single spacers but I needed more space for those large Esee handles. They are a heavy nylon and not rubber so they are very stiff and the strongest I've been able to find. The posts are black brass or steel and the screws are black oxide alloy steel. Very strong. The kydex will fail before those fasteners do. The stiff nylon washers also act as a lock washers since they are so dense.

Thanks for the advice and the post.

No worries elof_alv. I doubt I'm the first and that's no big deal. I just haven't seen any yet. Of course I'm going to the Muela catalog next. :D
