Permanent lock stick fixes

The heaviest use my folding knives get are things that a slipjoint could handle. For heavier stuff I have fixed blades. Is there a permanent or semi-permanent solution to lock stick for liner locks? It doesn't matter if these solutions make the lockup less secure - for my uses the amount of force the lock takes is very minimal.

What knife do you have that is sticking? Is it a new knife? It might just need to be broken in. Or if there is oil or something on the lock face this may cause it to over travel and would make the lock stick. Use a pencil (or I think some people may use a sharpie) on where the liner comes in contact with the lock face. Those usually work for me.
It might also stick if the blade is flung open to fast causing the lock to over travel. Hope this helps!

If you carbidize the face of the lock it will keep it from sticking, it also slows down wear on the lock.

So far I have been using the pencil method but the graphite usually comes off in a few openings. These are not new knives, they are all 10-15 years old and have been used.
