In case anyone is turning to local stag since the shortage of Sambar is getting worse here is a ray of sun-light, at least if you want to sell in Ontario. The Ministry of Natural Resources sells a permit to deal in "Cast" antler. Cost..$30.00 Cdn, good for one year. It covers Deer, Moose, and Caribou as well as Hides of bear.
The look on the face of a M.N.R. inspector with thoughts of seizure on his mind as you pull one out at a show is worth the price alone.
