Perrin dreamin'....

Since it's well established that the Spyderco Perrin is the best damn production fixed blade available... (Not that I'm opinionated or anything)

I was just wondering what changes might be on your dreamlist for this knife?

For me...#1....S30V blade...WOOHOO!! Dayum that'd be nice...I'm quite typically skeptical of that latest and greatest steels, but I recently got my first S30V knife (Bud Nealy Pesh Kabz) and that thing is like pure magic, holds an edge incredibly long, resharpens easily, and thus far is very stain resistant.

#2 a shorter model with a 3.5 - 4 inch blade

#3 a better made kydex sheath for it. That one is low on the wishlist though, since there's so many quality sheath makers that can already make one up for a few extra bucks.


And the ultimate dream of the the Perrin for me...

That same S30V blade with a with removeable deep grooved G-10 grips. (removable for cleaning out gunk, ultralight carry, or cordwrapping just for shucks and grins)

I would definitely be willing to shuck out a few extra bucks for the S30V and the improved kydex sheath.

whaddya think?

Some of it I like to think would be possible, others are merely just what I stated...a dream, but..what the hell, eh?
