I bought two more Perrin's this week, bringing the grand total to 3.
Two of the knives are absolutely perfect; I can't find a single flaw. The third knife seems to have a defect in the handle. I'll try to describe this as best I can.
If you hold the blade with the spine up, the traction grooves in the top of the handle sit higher than the traction grooves on the blade. The top of the blade is not sitting flush with the top of the handle. If you run your finger from the back of the handle towards the spine of the blade, you will feel a drop off. My other two Perrins are perfectly flush and smooth.
Is anyone else's Perrin like this? Should I send this one back? I'm thinking about doing just that because this one is going in the collection and I really want a perfect one.
