The Perrin's size is too large for us normal people to EDC, has spyderco considered a smaller version of the perrin?
 
I don't know if Spyderco will release a "shorter" version of the Perrin...
But the "original" knife from Perrin (the Street Bowie) is shorter than the "factory" FB04.
Maybe you should try to contact Fred Perrin himself and ask the price for an original Street Bowie.
