Perrin pocket bowie sheath

I just saw a picture of one of these, basically it holds the knife horizontal, along the belt, with a clip at the front end that snaps around a belt loop. This is a very secure, low profile carry. I am thinking it would make a good carry for a folder as well. I am thinking of one out of Kydex, with about 1/2 to 1" of the pommel of the knife showing, the bottom would be open, so a strong push with the palm of the hand would rotate the blade down and forward out of the sheath (while deploying the wave? Hmmm....).

Has anyone tried making a small belt sheath such as this to hold a knife (griffe would be perfect), small pocket CPR mask and latex gloves? That would be an extremely "defensible" combination, methinks.

Hey Clinton..

Good to see another fellow Canajun in the forums..:)

BTW Welcome to the forums...

Something like this is always possible..However it would take some serious engineering...

Actually, there is a guy here on the forums, I think he is from Canada too, that has made some pretty neat horizontal sheaths. His name escapes me now, but he has his own website too. Surely someone else here knows who I am talking about. Most of what I have seen was done in leather, but I think he also did kydex.
