Hey guys, I was looking to get my first Spydie and the one that's caught my eye is the Perrin PPT, but everywhere I've tried it's either back-ordered or out of stock. Does anyone know where I can get one or what the hold up seems to be? Any info is appreciated.

Kyle.

Probably the same problem with other popular Spyderco knives - the supply chain is not capable of keeping up with the demand. The GB, Para 2 and a few others have recently suffered that fate.

The PPT is a fantastic knife for EDC if you can handle the weight. The size is right and the way it works when deploying the blade is quite amazing and the F&F is on par with the Gayle Bradley too. It is truly a one handed knife, especially for the right handers.

Thanks guys, I'll have to check out that site.

The knife looks rock solid, and I'm digging the blade shape.

insomnia, if you can not find it, try Howe's Knife Shop in Michigan. Phone # is 989.739.4320, might be able to help you. Stocking dealer, good guy, & free shipping. Tell him JUST1MOR said hello.
Be safe.

Does anyone have a photo of the PPT in hand, and/or possibly next to a Gayle Bradley? I'm really into the PPT, but am worried the blade may be short.

I have these handy - hope they help a little:

Hm, I was looking into this knife a bit further before I made a purchase, and I am left-handed. I was looking at the clip in a youtube vid and it seems that it's non-reversible. Also, the protruding framelock/linerlock looks like it could be problematic for a lefty as well as the spydie-hole. Does anyone left-handed have any experience with this knife? I don't mind so much about the clip, as I would have no problem taking it off and carrying it deep in the pocket, but the other issues concern me. Thanks.

Kyle
