Persian Fighter Steel

I have some questions on the Busse 6" BL Persian Fighter. The Busse Collector has the steel as INFI, and thickness as .28. I do not have a Micrometer, but it is under 0.25 thickness. What does the ST-56 blade stamping stand for? Thanks for your help in advance.

ST-56 is some military unit that ordered them from Busse.
Not sure about thicknesses, but I know help will be on the way...

I had one. No way anywhere near .28"!! That would have made that blade a completely different knife. More like the Persian Cleaver, LOL!

I believe it was 3/16".

And its .195 since that's a bit odd of a measurement for Busse, I'll just update it with 0.20
