Persian in Multibar Damascus

hi everybody,

I wanted to show you a persian style fighter built by me some weeks ago:

Blade: 3 bar damascus in 1.2842 und 1.2767
OAL: 32,5 cm, blade: 20 cm
Handle: Ebony
Guard, frog & pommel screw: damascus

A very nice knife.
Can you elaborate a little on what makes this knife "Persian"?.
 
I like what you did with the damascus a slight recurve bowie is what I would call it but I do not see it as a Persian, I feel the term persian has been used lightly and thats fine as I feel a lot of knives may reflect that style in the blade or handle so to use the term is ok . I do like your work on this so please do not take this wrong but I just do not see it having a persian influence

Regarding the Persian influence, perhaps the most distinctive characteristics of the "Pesh-Kabz" are the recurved edge and upswept tip. While it is very subtle on this knife, I do see the influence.
 
Damascus is well made. The silhouette is clean. I like this knife.
 
very nice piece but again my initial response was "Persian???" Re-curve is closer. Never matter however as it is a nice knife overall.
