It is has been a while since I put anything up . This is one I have been working on for a while. I don't have a sheath yet. It is W-1 with a Bolivian rosewood handle and ebony inlays. I clay hardened it but I wasn't real happy with the hamon. I didn't etch it so you have to look really hard and you can see it a little.
Overall 14"
8" sharp
1 1/2" wide

Thanks for looking Todd

I like it! Reminds me of a Bugis badik. That's a sewar from Sumatra in the pic, but same idea. If it had a cranked handle, I'd be drooling. :)

Thanks for the comments. That is really an interesting knife Jayinhk. I am sorry I don't know what a cranked handle is. Can you explain? Todd

Hi Todd,

A cranked handle is one at an angle rather than being in a relatively straight line, e.g., like a pistol grip. I like the 45 degree handles best. This makes them excellent for thrusting with: I have two like it right next to me.
