Evening Gents. Just finished this up in time for a Show this weekend. Takefu VG10 core san mai blade, hollow ground and with a full tapered tang. 416SS bolsters engraved by Danae Cresswell. Stabilized Giraffe bone scales with black liners. Stones are Garnets. Over all length is 12 3/4" X 7 1/2" blade. Thanks for looking, Peter.

That is the epitome of a Persian Fighter....so very well done.

Thanks guys, I make this pattern fairly often and in a bunch of sizes. Goes all the way back to 1993 after seeing the boot knives that Tommy Lee had with him at the first ever Australian Knifemakers Guild show. That was the first Show I ever displayed at and it was certainly an eye opener. Apparently you can make all sorts of stuff, not just hunters.

Danae's work is outstanding for someone so young, only 23 years old. I sent her a rough drawing followed by a quick phone call and she delivered just what I had imagined. Cheers.

You've made such a beautiful knife here, gorgeous. The little details are great the San Mai with the grind you did makes the blade just hypnotic. I have to say this is one of my favorites ever on this forum. Thank you so much for sharing it
