Persian subhilt

hello together,

I`d like to show you a subhilt, built on order along the lines of this one:

the materials now are a bit different and give this knife a totally new look.

steel: W2, forged and clay-hardened
grip: ebony
guard, subhilt, butt and sheath-applications: Ni-damascene ( forged by m. schick)
total: 35cm
blade only: 21cm
thickness: 6,0-2,0mm

The steel of the hilts and sheath fittings looks like draped silk. Such beautiful work.

Beautiful flowing shapes. This is a very interesting piece. I looked at the fittings for a long time. Extremely well executed. Well done and thanks for showing us.

Pure passion. It is so organic shaped and awesome combination of colors ...the patern is following the shapes.
Button at the end is like a cherry on the cream
Just amazing work
