I was doing my rounds checking if there was anything new at Emerson's website and ... the Persian has gone from the usual "not available at this time" (which was its status for the longest time, a couple of years almost, I'd say) to "order now" status!
Be warned though that when ordering, this is what it says: "Please Note: 'Persian Tactical Folder SF' is currently backordered. Please be aware that there may be a delay in shipping.". But in any case it can be ordered (and I ordered one just a few minutes ago), it must mean that they're gearing up for a production run very soon!

UPDATE: I just called the folks at Emerson and I was told that this is for "preorder" and that they estimate they will produce the Persian in 6 to 8 WEEKS. Oh yeah baby, perfect Xmas gift for myself!!!
