I'm rather new knife guy. But I've this thing about curved and recurved knives, especially the persians. There are so many, but I want the all!!!
So, Anyone know of any good priced fixed blade non-customs?

I'm not sure how extreme a "Persian" design you are looking for. They are not generally real popular these days as utility knives or tactical knives. Blades sort of like this are sometimes called trailing point skinners. Hunters have mostly gone to drop point blades because they worry about cutting into organs with the trailing point. Tactical buyers seem to think that they should be trying to poke with their knives rather than slash and don't appreciate all the belly on the trailing point designs.

One high quality, very practical, trailing point knife I could think of is Spyderco's Bill Moran featherweight. This may be too small and too straight for your thinking. It is a very nice knife made with a razor quality steel.

Yeah, I've been wondering what the deal is with them, but I think they're awsome.
There are few custom persians I've been looking at. but it gets a bit pricy.
It seems most persians are folders now.
