The request was pretty much specific. The thinnest, smallest, khaki anodized low rider to look as much like a pen clip as I could muster. This was so thin in the end I could barely get my STR signature punch to work on it and had to focus pretty good to hit it dead on.

I started to show it on a pair of my own jeans sitting on the table fresh out of the dryer. But after seeing it I thought na! About then my wife walked by with a nice pristine looking pocket never abused from a pocket clip or a Wave so I grabbed her for two quick shots showing before and after.

This is among the smallest of clips I've custom made for anyone. I hope he likes it. Not sure if you guys reading this have seen this little Persistence folder from Spyderco or my other thread on it. I tell ya what though. For the money @ $32 plus or minus, its got to be one of the best bang for your buck deals going. Made in China with the 8CR13MOV but its got thick liners, works flawlessly and this is the second one I've seen both being as identical as higher dollar folders. Its got to be one of the better quality China made knives I've had my hands on to date. It appears when the need arises they can produce a quality piece of workmanship over there that is right up there with some of the higher quality pieces I've owned and handled from Taiwan or the USA. Anyway, just thought I'd say that once more while its up and the subject of focus once again in my shop. I'm always on the hunt for bargain deals that are still offering a lot of bang for the $ and this model, like the Tarani 5.11 Investigator folder is another one of those kind of deals for the guy wanting a no holds barred get after it beater upper folding knife.

Thanks for looking

That is PERFECT! I can't wait to get it. I may have to get something like that for my FRN Stretch also once I have played with that one a bit.

Thanks!

Steve, do you recall this itty-bitty one (1 1/2 x 1/4) you did for me last year? I thought the four hole pattern was really elegant.

Oh yes. I do recall it after seeing it. I don't recall all of them but usually I can tell at a glance if it was one of my own or not. Yours was small also. I've done small ones in the past for other folks as I do on occasion get a request for one like this. I just didn't recall having to struggle such to line up my signature punch on one before. Any thinner and I'd have been signing this one by hand I think. There isn't much room on either side of my Signature STR on this one here compared to most of the others I've done.
