Personal revelation (knife related)

In the past year of being on the various forums, I have gone from owning two knives, to ten. I broke through the $100 barrier about six months ago, and now I'm onto customs.

I've noticed that I tend to carry my Sebenza in a Gary Graley sheath most often. It only dawned on me tonight that it is fear of loosing a knife that influences my carry choice. I feel that with pocket clips a knife could still fall out. With my G2 sheath the knife is in there unless I take it out.

Maybe it's time for me to get back in touch with G2.

Hiya Mitch!
You can try doing what I do....
Attach some paracord through the hole the the Benz, then staple it you your forehead.

This accomplishes two things:
1. If the knife falls out, you'll know immediately from feeling the staples rip outta your head.
2. It will serve as a warning to others that you are not to be trifled with.
3. It's like wearing a Rolex.... wearing a Sebenza in a pocket doesn't show the status symbol deal as well as displating it on your head. It's a SEBENZA, after all!
4. You'll always be prepared to shave!

Off to assist others, and to learn how to count,
I remain,
VG

Odd Pictures at Photopoint
An assortment of pictures I decided to share with anyone that was so bored they wanted to check out my antics. I did this to prove that I am indeed sane. Be advised that there's hardly any nudity. Feel free to sign the Guestbook!!
Manifesto of Madness
I wrote most of that at work after drinking massive amounts of coffee. I needed to look busy and that dribbled out of my head. There's also a whole bunch of Optical Illusions.

Even though the guy in those pictures has the same exact tattoos as me, I have no idea who he is!

Hmmmmmm, another good idea from the desk of the notorious Vampire Gerbil. That is a good idea for letting people know you are not to be trifled with, but I feel that my trenchcoat with 147 loaded mouse traps glued on makes an even greater statement in that direction. Especially effective while wearing the clown nose as well.

Personal knife related revelations are great, aren't they Mitch? I'm trying to learn to flip a balisong around, and the flood of personal revelations is staggering. Learn alittle more about knives, and you end up learning alittle more about yourself. Kinda strange, IMHO.

If you want a revelation, click on the vampires Manifesto of Madness...it should be required reading!

Mitch, I'd try Vampire Gerbils suggestion out on a friend first......

VG, good ideas...everyone...just next time you take your medications, remove the top off the bottles, as they are more potent when swallowed that way!

(hmmm stapled to the forehead! now why didn't I think of that!!!)

Mitch, I'm going to be ordering my first custom folder soon; linerlock, stag scales, perhaps a stainless damascus wharncliff blade, and NO CLIP and one perhaps two G2 sheaths for it. Why two? One soft leather for discreet in pocket carry and one fancy for belt carry when I want it to be noticed.

Hey PhilL,

That's exactly what I did with a Mayo Gent's I picked up! Can't go wrong -- Gary's sheaths even make Tom's POS look good (j.k. Tom

As for VG,

Maybe you can get Gary to make a sheath to fit on the spiked dog collar?
