Personalized my Emerson...Updated with Gray Precision Thumb Disk

I just got my first Emerson and initially, I wasn't very impressed. However, I've started to realize that (much like my Glock) it's a simple / well made tool that may not look pretty but works / keeps working.

Regardless, I felt the need to personalize it a bit...so here's the result of a little boredom and my dremel...polished the screw heads, pivot, standoffs, and pocket clip.

My only other modification is to add a larger thumb stud (suggestions would be appreciated) to make opening it a bit easier.

Thanks, I was just looking at the Gray Precision Monster disk. Also thinking about trying to make one from a .45 acp casing.

45acp casings make nice thumbdisc's, but would have to be notched for your waveless 7. They work very well on a waveless 8.

My choice for oversized td on a seven is the Steel Flame/Emerson Ti-Fighter.

Tganks Guys, the Ti Fighter and Street Reaper are both nice options as well.

Get a G10 disk from a pimper here on Bladeforums.
Eric made me an orange disk.

My vote is for a Pete Gray Monster thumb disk. I ordered one for my Mini.

I'm leaning towards the Pete Gray Monster Disk...just deciding between the standard and logo version with "double rifle" knurling. Anybody have the logo version? If so, pics would be great since I didn't see many on his website.

I would suggest Pete gray or street reaper for a larger disk.

I'd heard of the other options in this thread, but not Street Reaper. Nice! They make a ton of different styles and sizes, too.

I've been waffling pretty hard about changing out the disk on my (lone) Emerson. In the ~2 weeks I've had it, I've gotten used to its size, and I like the knurling a lot . . . but the larger ones do look handy.

I have Gray Precision disks on all my carry Emersons. It's the way to go, since Emerson's site seems to be permanently out of the TI Fighter disks in purple.

I appreciate everyone's suggestions. I went with the Gray Precision Monster disk. I'll post some pics when I receive it.

Cool. I just polished my screws and clip this last weekend too.

Love silver hardware on g10 with a nice shiny blade.

Eric is going to make me some OD G10 scales for my CQC7. It's gonna look good.

Nice! That goes really well with the other polished elements.

I haven't seen a lot of pictures of the GP logo disk in the wild. It's good to be able to put it in context.
