So I didn't carry an Emerson for about a month and a half, I only had one left as I was thinning out the collection, and didn't want to carry it because it was perfect so I didn't want to scratch it up with use.
I carried benchmades for the time being, and I love Benchmade knives. However, one developed severe lock rock, and I took apart 2 different benchmades and they took what seemed like forever to put back together!
I recently just got a roadhouse in a trade, and jeez, I MISSED CARRYING EMERSONS. This thing locks up crazy tight, and I took it apart and put back together in like 2 minutes. So Mr. Emerson I thank you for a simple, well designed tool.
That is all. :D

Yea, I own many other fine knives but they are not a Emerson. I never carry them. Its always a Emerson in my pocket. The biggest battle is which Emerson do I EDC for the day. Emerson's have a personality and feel like no other. I always say a Emerson knife is like a fine 1911. Nothing is quite like them and both require a bit to break in to really see them shine.

I agree and the Emerson is cheaper to break in. Every now and then I get a Emerson that requires only a day to get broken in. My latest Kryptek 15 was like this.

Emersons break in nicer than the 1911.
:D
Nice trio!

Yep... ALWAYS an Emerson in my pocket, since " 98 " anyways :D

If you ask me Emersons are more like a Glock. :) Built tough for hard use, easy to take apart and not alot of maintenance required, and never let you down.

CarterR, I hear ya buddy! I always have a 7 on me with a Commander most days. Sometimes the Commander gets replaced with the Sheepdog or an A-100.

The only non Emersons that make into the rotation are a Bad Monkey and a large 21 Sebenza.

Yep, my Emerson's are the knives that get used in my collection! All my pretty little girlies stay in the safe so they won't get scratched!
