#1 - When a customer can`t bother to let you know when his knife arrives. I pride myself on trying to be a good communicater, letting customers know status of their orders, and would appreciate the same.

#2 - I absolutely hate when someone does reply back on how much they like their new knife, then you never see or hear from them again. Hey, if you think the knife is junk, let me know!

That's gotta be frustrating. I can see your point; you obviously put a lot of work into what you do. If you don't get feedback, either way, how can you possibly improve and/or grow your craft?

As far as delivery, it would probably be a good thing if the new knife owner at least let you know when it arrived. Common courtesy.

Your really good with communication and some makers aren't(learned that the hard way). I consider it a common courtesy to let the maker/person know they received the knife.

One of my pet peeves are knife makers and/or manufacturers that send send me their high priced dull novelty items.

Don't deliver a knife with it's most important part (the blade) useless. I don't have power grinding wheels and I don't like spending hours profiling a hard rockwell dull blade by hand

I can think of 5 makers/manufacturers, reputable ones, that have sent me their super hard tourist trap items.

STOMPER none of the whole two knives that I have brought from you have that problem they both came with great decent cutting edges. I did touch the friction folder up a bit but it came with a working edge that was quite workable for someone like me (easy to hone)

As for the urban tank I liked edge on it as is and left it.

Thank you Stomper

Sadly, I think I am guilty of the first part, at least on my most recent order (Anniversary Knife #9). Sometimes life, especially with a newborn, gets in the way of playing with knives or even commenting on-line about wishing you had the time to play with knives:D I apologize for the tardiness at times of my communication John:o You definitely do an outstanding job of communicating with your customers and you make a pretty decent knife too:thumbup::thumbup:
