Like so many other companies, 2001 was a bad year. And, like so many other companies, Buck had to have a lay off of some employees. Unfortunately, Pete Quintanilla was a part of that layoff. I mention it here only because many of you know, and have corresponded with Pete over the years. He was instrumental in bringing Pete's Custom Knife Shoppe on line, that is why it bears his name.
Pete will be greatly missed here at Buck.
:(

Pete,
It is my sincere hope that your number was just set in reserve for a quick return to Buck Knives. You are missed by all and especially by me!!!

Hell Pete, maybe you can do some custom work on 110's at home..;) I've got a 110 and 110 fg that could use new scales:D

THIS IS SERIOUS BAD NEWS!!! DAMN TERRORIST!!!

If the Sept 11 attack hadn't pushed our economy over the edge Pete
and lots of other folk's would have been able to work through our
economic downturn.

Pete, Hope this turns out to be a very short "vacation".
