I wasn't exactly sure where I should be putting this so, Mods, feel free to toss it wherever you think fit.

When I was last playing around on BF there was a guy called Peter Atwood who made knives and other interesting bits of equipment.

Is he still around, including here on BF?

I bought a Prybaby off him, tiger striped with lugs to tighten the SNG pivot. Had it for maybe 2 years or a little more now. Just want to tell him that this has been one of the handiest small tools I think I've ever had. I don't go ANYWHERE without it. Top piece of kit, if he's still making them, get one!

His stuff is hotter then ever.

He had a couple of articles written about him in various blogs and has become an even bigger hit. It's next to impossible to get anything anymore with so many people lurking on his sight waiting for him to put a few things in stock. Lots of people are turning them for a quick profit.

Recently Peter made a brand new folder and decided to give everybody a chance at it and auction it off on ebay. It ended up with a winning bid of $910.

I have several of his items, mostly the small blades, but do carry a Keyton on my keychain every day. Can't say I've ever been in a situation where I needed it, but I've found several useful functions that I like to use it for.

He seems to hang out more at edcforums.com than anywhere else as far as I can tell. Great guy!

I love his stuff, but never get a chance at any of it. Gone before I can even blink. I'd love to get my hands on a son of prything. A friend has one, and that is a very handy tool...

i had no idea his work was so sought after.

ive been carrying a bug out bar for years at work. its all rusted and beat up, and it has seen plenty of use.

had a few prybabies too, guess i should have kept them!! :)

Peter's stuff ROCKS!!! I have several of his gadgets, and a knife that he made. He is also a GREAT guy too!! I have kept everything that I have ever bought from him. I also always have an Atwood tool with me too.

I was lucky enough to get a Ti Prybaby back when his stuff was actually available. It has been more useful than a lot of my knives, even. I only regret not buying more of his stuff when I could.

Us Atwoodites gather on EDC forums.

Mr Atwood shows up on occasion and the tools that he makes are discussed on a regular basis. There are also a quite a bit of his tools on the exchange.

I have a mini son of prything I carry on my key chain that gets a fair amount of work. It is one of the coolest little things I ever bought. A couple of months ago I saw a mini SOP on evil-bay for just under $200!!! Awesome for him. He wrote on his blog that he was surprised the pocket knife went for $910 earlier this month too. His new crawdaddy design is a great idea too. He's getting big enough I expect to see some of his designs in production soon.

Bought a Flat Prybaby in Ti when it was available for $25. Fits the SnG, fits the Wallet, works great as a scraper on tooling when paper or stuff is stuck on.

It proved that a ground off hardware store bar was just that, modified overseas junk.
