I googled Mr. Bauchop's knives and found surprisingly little out there. Is he still active? I see that his son Robert is building some of his dad's patterns, but I've seen very little of Peter's work in the last few years. I'm familiar with his standard, dress and skeletonized Witch, Warlock and Wizard daggers, Alley Cat and Kitten fighters, Recce utility fixed blade, and a folding dagger, but that's about it. Peter's bow and axe (chop) logo shows a great sense of humor.

I picked up this 11" OAL D2 Bauchop "Witch" from Les Robertson years ago, but I'd love to see more of his work if anyone can post some pics.

Awesome knife!

I'll post pictures of my collection when I'm able to.
Bot some witches, hornets, alley cats, kittens, and others that do not come to mind right away.

Looking forward to those pics, Rooikat. I've always wanted to score an Alley Cat or Kitten that's finished like my Witch.

Do you have any knowledge of Peter's status these days?

Thanks!

Anyone have any idea how much these go for on the secondary market?

If I remember correctly, that's a "Shaman" with a Kalgard coated D2 blade and black linen micarta scales over stainless liners. I think they originally sold for around $350, but I don't know what the market will bear for them now.

This Knife was reviewed in Tactical Knives Magazine. I got it after the testing from Becks Cutlery.
