Just finished photographing this knife for my dad, Peter Martin. Shortly after the Blade show in June, he was contacted by Faisal Yamin who is a knife designer that has earned a notable reputation among custom knife makers for his design work. Faisal and Peter have collaborated on a new knife design which they've named the "Nebula". They've decided to sell it using a lottery-style format so that everybody has an equal chance to own it. The price of this prototype is $950 and the lottery entry will run from 12:00pm Thursday, December 18th through 6:00pm Sunday, December 21st. Here's the knife's specs:

That's a sweet design, but I have to ask if there is a reason why the flipper tab not shown in the photo?

Lorien,

My dad wanted to sell this knife using the lottery-style format, and I really wanted to make the "Prototype" text visible so that's why I chose to zoom in on it which unfortunately cut off the flipper tab.

Both knife and photo are top shelf.

Really miss your old bug knives Peter they were always on the top of my list to see at bladeshow

I miss making them, but making these flippers is pretty cool as well. I'll see if what kind of insect plague infests me this year. Thanks Cliff.
