I just got pictures of the Kerambit that Petr Dohnal made for me
He still has to make the sheath which will be canted for concealment.

Nice rugged looking knife just like I asked him to make. It has a stainless blade
and I don't have the details on the wood used for the handle.

And a nice composit showing all sides.

I finally get my steel Raptors Claw :D :D

Looks great:D
I like how he rounded the ring out a little on the inside. looks ergonomic:)

That knife looks like it could rip through marine plywood . Great pictures of a great looking knife . The large ring mystifies me a bit . Does the small finger wrap through it when gripping the knife ? Aside from being a more than adequate pommel what use does it serve ?

Outstanding!!

You do realize you NEED one for each hand right?!;) :D

Seriously that is beautiful:thumbup:

This is a simple version of the Damascus Kerambit on his website which seems to be down right now.

I wanted one that was plain and rugged so I can use the heck out of it..
So, I asked for a durable wood grip and then Petr recommended a Stainless Blade to keep the cost down.

The ring is good sized so you hold it either way with little or index finger in the ring.

I can't wait to see the sheath. Petr's Sheaths are works of art as well.

I never thought of a reversed grip . Ouch . Since you plan on using it to the extreme ma6y we know of your results ?
B:T:W: if that is what a crude one looks like I,d love to see a beauty .

I hope I never have to use it to the extreme....LOL!!!....OUCH!!! ;)

But yes this is a Plain Jane version of what Petr can do.

Here's the first knife I bought from him

ALBPM,
That is one sweet looking knife...I am a big fan of Kerambit's myself

Make sure ya post pics of the sheath when ya get it...

BTW...can you PM me or post Petr's e-mail addy??

Thanks

Wow, he has some nice stuff on his web site. I can't wait for the English version to get online.

Alan

wow, that's pretty sweet. i like it a lot. the sheath should be a looker one would think :)

i just traded for a "mikkel willumsen titanium framlock with orange g10 scales and a blade of rwl 34 steel"... it LOOKS spiffy, fairly custom - can't find much about him or it on the net, so... i have my fingers crossed. the pictures i have are pretty good - it's a kerambit variation - very nice.

still would like an HI kerambit. have been on the list fo-evah (it seems like :>). saw a couple go by on DOTDs... mmm.

loverly stuff

The Sheath is finished!!!
Also, the Blade is made from D2 Steel - High Chromium content so very hard and practically stainless.

Very Cool!!!!

WoW!

That original kerambit looks like something the Nazgul(sp?) would have wielded in Lord of the Rings:eek: That would make any sane person turn tail and run the other way.

Edited to add: It almost looks magical--like it might inflict more than just a cut!

Paul, I was eyeballing the sheath pictures for very long time.
It seems to me it went out very well. Does it fit in your idea of concealed?

cosco

That is one pretty sheath...Should be a good way to carry that Kerambit...let us know how it works for ya...

Yea I like that design as well:thumbup: :D
