Yesterday we made a new knife - special for fishermen

Blade - Elmax, 60-61 HRc
Hardware - austenitic inox steel
Handle - palisandr Santos, inox, fiber, Ring of deer horn

Thickness blade about 3 mm.
It's a filleting knife, not skinning the fish.
I do not like those too soft blade. For something fits, but I do not manufacture.
We go fishing in Norway for many years, I've tried them.

In some older thread I presented my workshop.
I work with my two sons in the Czech Republic. I also have a daughter, but she does not want to produce knives ... . :-)

My English is not good, something I understand, but I use translator.
Perhaps it is understood.

It's me and the older son in our workshop.
The younger son started working recently, so no photo :-)

Our friend often flies for fishing in Mongolia.
He sent us a beautiful picture with our knife and amazing fish.
It's not a fishing knife, but he said that was excellent.

Fine looking knife, very sharp blade and gorgeous handle and beautiful sheath. It's perfect to carry on fishing trips. Awesome work!
