Ad's thread about his wonderful kitty prompted me to ask folks who have an inclination to post a picture of their animals.

These are all my second generation of cats since college. All of my ones from college I lost back in the 90's.(I graduated in 83)

This is Lynx AKA Kittyangel AKA MsGoodpussy AKA Flathead (ie all my animals have multiple names they all answer to) As you can see she's the rather nervous and flighty one.

This is Big, AKA Mr Prissy in this picture he is taking advantage of Ms. Hollowdweller last fall when she was helpless and recovering from surgery

When they are sleeping we always wonder what they are dreaming of. I believe it's something like this:

Hollow ?I don,t know how to tell you this but your cats have upside-downism and the most extreme case of gigantism I have ever seen ! To make matters worse these diseases bring another to the table along with their own sweet selves . An insidious profound denial in their owners . One symptom of this denial is the keeping of cat poop in the house in specially designed sand boxes .
to date there in no known cure ....... L:O:L

Here's a pic of my ferret Gruntz.

He's nuts. A very friendly loving ferret that loves to be with us. if not under foot the little monster is in bed with us:D Here's a pic of him rolling on the curtain that he just yanked off the rod.

Here's my dog Rox.

He's a real daddy's boy. He's put on about 6 pounds since this pic was taken. Probably the smartest most loving dog i have ever had. Usually, i'm a cat person. however, there is something about a medium sized dog that can go anywhere. He comes to work with me everyday. The customers love him:)

Jake
edit: didn't spell "Gruntz" right;)

We used to have a ferret Fritz. He had a great love of getting in the sleeper couch and gently biting guests on the rear while they sat.

Although he was essentially a vegetarian when we moved to our house we have now it was full of mice. After he had run all over the house even between the floors for a few months I guess he had ferrent scent everywhere and we didn't have a single mouse in the house. Don't think he killed them just the predator smell.

Doodle, my American Pit Bull Terrier, was the best hiking buddy I ever had and the best home companion as well. I never worried about Karen when I was out of town but Doodle was there. He weighed 80 lbs in his prime, he was socialized as a puppy, obedience trained as a young adult and won the obedience championship in his class. He was also only one championship win short of being a Grand Champion show dog when I just ran out of time to show him.

But I appreciated him most on the hiking trails in the mountains and canyons of Los Alamos county. No dog was ever more courageous. He disappeared momentarily on a hike once only to show up again herding a fully grown bull elk in my direction. Thanks dude, but no thanks. Make him go away!

i've shown some flashes of my two little poopydogs here on occasion,

Blue is a rescue dog, a greyhound most likely of traveller stock (gypsies) and probably being groomed for rabbit/hare hunting when he escaped or got lost. police found him at about 6 mo. old, i got him from the rescue centre when he was 10 mo. old. he loves people, running, chasing small furry rabbity things and digging holes, running, playing with his stuffed animals and sleeping under the covers. he thinks all people should pet him and make a fuss, usually they do. He's won a few ribbons in local doggie shows...he was born in 2001, probably in october. His full name is Bonney Blue Flag.

Millie is a year older than blue, she was a class A racer at the local track, and a favorite of the kennel trainer. she was in 70 races, won 13, 2nd in 12 and 3rd in 13, only came in last when she hurt her paw in her next to last race. they gave her a month off, but she pulled up in her next race so they decided to retire her. millie is very gentle with people and children, she collects stuffed animals and hides them in her bedding, she does not like small ankle-biter dogs or puddy tats. she does have a scarey smile tho. her proper name is Balto Millenium, balto was a famous irish racing horse, millie was born in the millenium of 2000 and is proud to be irish. she has 55 brothers and sisters. 5 of them were born at the same time she was, and she has her own web page on Greyhound-data

This is my 6mo old cat I just got from the ASPCA. She loves carrying whiffle golf balls around in her mouth like a dog to play fetch. Here she is holding my printer down

Here are Sir Clyde Pickles, and Andy's Lady Green. We all miss her, especially Pickles.

Was just looking at old pix...

Spock, the Siamese on left, Mitzi on right.

In this pic, the house has been demoed after the storm surge got in, Dennis this time. Wallboard cut, floor coverings gone. We lived this way for most of a year.

Spock won't stop howling. He's searching and searching for her.

We have three dogs, two cats, two rabbits and numerous fish distributed between an aquarium and a small garden pond. During nice weather we like to take the two big dogs out on hikes. Last Sunday my wife, youngest son & I walked them about a mile up the railroad tracks along the Clearwater River to a pond on tribal land. We had the place to ourselves and my wife had brought her camera, so here are a few shots she took.

I introduced both of these dogs to the forum in another thread three years ago right after we adopted our newest dog; that was Penny, the Lab shown in these pics. The Rottweiler is Hanna (who, incidentally, also thinks she's a lab  ).

Here are some wet dogs having a good time (the strapping lad in the background is Dan, my baby boy):

Great stuff indeed.

AA - Watch the shadows where Spock is searching...you may see something surprising and wonderful.

ps: Hollow - Thanks for starting this thread.

My latest backyard Project from last summer. Querque helped the whole time. She got her paws in my colored mortar numerous times....LOL!!!

Great pictures everyone.

Picture of Ollie showing his thumb, his 6th toe, like a Hemingway cat.

Ceefur and Ollie sharing the chair in front of the computer. A one time event on Christmas Eve!

And this is Sweetie, who is our only female and Ceefur's sister. She was the runt of the litter and not expected to survive. That's women for you :) She is very timid, but very vocal.

This is my favourite picture of Ollie. He liked to sit on top of the coffee machine on the bar of the Inn. Now whilst very few people didn't approve, most got a real kick out of it especially the ones that thought he was stuffed. Of course he is retired now :)

Well, we have pets..

Waiting for their pets..

Then we have PETS:D :D

Those animals could hear the dolphins long before they were in sight! Had to tie Rock the dog , up to windlass as his tail was going so hard - feared he would dive in:eek: Rolly the cat, went bottle brush tail mode, but never took his eyes off them!

Latter pic = upper eyebrows bear a close relationship to lower hand ;)

Well - what is a pet??
