Petzl Tikka - Frontal

Hey guys,

I just bought a Petzl Tikka. This is really worth a look. 3 led on it, with 3 AAA cells, and that's it. 150 hours of light, with a decent flare up to 30 feet. It's extremely light (70 grams), waterproof, pretty tough to shocks... and all of that with free hands.

if you can you might consider returning it and getting the tikka plus with strobe and dimming options like the aurora. or maybe you wouldn't like the more chances of failure. just thought i'd alert you to the option of it

Right on. They're more expensive, and as in anything, the more gadgets you have, the more chances you get to see them let you down.

I think the Tikka is a great little lamp, with plenty of light packed in a very light and tight package...

Another bonus with the Plus version is the ability to tilt the light up and down.
