We have a discussion at our Dutch messenforum about the bm rukus and were talking about the blade finish.

It's a really nice finish on the benchmade rukus and the only thing i can find it's probably called "pewter finish". So not the black coated but the grey uncoated blade.

Does anybody have some info about this "pewter finish"?

I can't really find any info with google.

Thanks Joel:thumbup:.

Hey Joel,

just read the thread over there. I didn't google, but I've noticed that benchmade isn't afraid to throw in some terms of their own. It'll probably be a slight variation on another finish. what's your take on it?

More than likely bead blasted
looked at a few sites but can't find the one you are talking about, can you post a picture

Hard to see but it does look bead blasted, much like sand blasting only they use fine glass bead.
