Pg membership still showing adult forums

spark, I can still see and access the adult forums after upgrade to pg platinum membership. Would you be able to remedy this? Thanks!
 
Hey f250, you have to change your usergroup from your current Platinum (see it under your name?) to PG Platinum by going to the Control Panel and clicking on the Group Membership link. Paying for the membership is not enough by itself. You have to change the setting on the Control Panel. After you change your usergroup to PG Platinum, you will be groovy.

Btw, Spark was nice enough to set up PG Platinum some time ago after I asked him to do something so my kids would not see adult images when I was surfing Bladeforums.

Thanks power noodle! I actually already did that, under permission groups, and I have the PG platinum chosen, then I updated the display group. It's not doing anything though. Am I missing something?
 
What forum are you looking at that you should not be able to see? There are only 2 that Ii am aware of. Well, one really.
 
Pirates cove and whine and cheese? Although I'm not sure if whine and cheese really falls into that category or not. I'd prefer to not see either of them if it matters, I'm just here for the knives [emoji106]

I've checked though, I can open up the sub forums, and open any thread in either sub forum. Both on tapatalk and in any of the browsers I use.
 
Do you have another paid subscription listed under your permission groups? If an old membership is still active, even if unselected, it may be overriding the PG one. If that's the case, you could start a thread to have it prorated to your PG membership, which will get rid of it and possibly the permissions it gives.

Its because you had an active gold membership as well. I prorated the gold onto the end of your PG and then deactivated it. You should be good now.
