Here's a 21 inch, 25 ounce Chitlangi by Bura. I'm not going to give this rig a perfect rating for two reasons. 1) the knife is perfect except there are visable waves, not much but you can see them, where Bura has worked out hammer marks. 2) the village sarki has done a good job on the scabbard but he's run a seam of what I think is beeswax along the seam on the back for 6 inches or so. I don't know what's under the was but I suspect nothing.

So, we'll deliver this near perfect Chitlangi to your door for $95 today. Pala's gone but he's still giving khukuris away.

Call or email if interested.

I've been wanting to get one of these beauties for awhile....just couldn't pass it up!....Thanks Uncle Bill

Wow, there sure have been a lot of Chitlangi give aways lately.:D Uncle, have the Kami's started making them more frequently or something?

WOW! Just got the chitlangi today. It just flys in my hand---a lot lighter and faster then I thought it would be (the Ganga Ram is about a pound heavier)...the GRS is is a tool but this could easily be described as a weapon. First impression: I can visually see the "waves"..barely....but interestingly enough there is barely a noticable difference when I measure them with a micrometer---it just blows my mind that this knife was made with a hammer, file, and a buffing wheel. Seems like the waves are more of an optical illusion then anything else. The blade is very uniform and the handle fits my hand almost perfectly (could be a tiny bit thicker-but I'm 6'4'' and have large hands). The "sword of Shiva" is straight with just enough chisle marks to prove it was hand made. Sharp enough to pull a few hairs on my arm out of the box(will make it shiver sharp soon!) Karda is a nice size but I need to sharpen it more. All in all I am greatly pleased with this blade!! If you haven't thought about getting a chitlangi yet---then I encourage you to get one---easily my favorite Khukuri so far! I'll give a performance update when I get a chance to test it out. Thanks Uncle Bill, and give my best to the kamis--and tell Bura a job well done!
