Here's a 16.5 inch 26 ounce Chiruwa AK by Bura. Everything about this knife is perfect -- fit, finish, hardness -- with one minor exception. You can see a very small wave in the edge 3 or 4 inches back from the tip. This will work out after a couple of sharpenings.
Good karda and chakma. Very good scabbard and frog by village sarki. Not quite enough hair on the scabbard to rate it as a hairly scabbard but not quite up to standard.

Take it home for $50 off regular rather than 25% off due to almost hairly scabbard and wave in edge. Price $95.

Call or email.

If there's anyone out there right now who is pondering making their first HI khuk purchase, this would be an OUTSTANDING choice!

Leather is thick and scabbard strong and well made but doesn't look as pretty as most. A couple of coats of Kiwi would help a lot.

Aaaahhhhhh  What?

I get the intent, but is there something specific this refers to.

[Or, for the english professors out there "to which this refers."]

I think it means that all the hair on the waterbuffalo wasn't removed during the tanning process.

I've never seen one but Samuraidave is said to have a furry scabbard. :)

I love my 16 1/2" Chiruwa, amazing no one has jumped on this rugged "camp tool". I can't afford two, but it is tempting.

It's too close in size and weight to my most recent purchase but my OCD is starting to take over.
