Here's a 10/10 25 inch Sirupat by Sanu. Perfect in every way. Sanu was having a good day when he made this one. A lot of blade (19.25 inches) and handle big enough but not too big. Great knife. Scabbard is old style but well done and tooled. Good karda and chakma.

25% off sets the price at $112.50 -- less than five bucks per inch for a fine handcrafted rig by a kami who is next in line for Bura's job.

Read Tom Holt's review of this knife and then call or email.

Busy, busy AM!!!!!! I'm ready for my Heineken but won't touch it until after 4PM.

One word of advice to anybody considering acquiring this knife;

BUY!!!

From the photo, it looks like the twin brother of the Nepalese lightsaber I've been taking down to the wood every day this week. If so, I'm pretty confident that whoever buys it is going to be a very satisfied customer.

When I first got mine, I wasn't entirely sure about it as a working khuk; I thought "sword" rather than axe or machete, and my instinct was to make a cute little stand to display it on and maybe chop up some tatami and bamboo. But then I had this clearing job to do... and I don't buy khuks just for looking at. So, all week I've been using the sirupati, for everything from slashing back tangled brush to serious lopping & chopping; I've got a woodpile that'll keep my pals' stoves burning for a month or two, and a whole lot of respect for Sher's version of the long knife.

To whom it may concern; don't hesitate, call Bill *now*...

This one keeps calling my name.

I turn off the computer and come back hoping it's sold, but no such luck.

Now that I've finally saved enough to buy Yvsa's horn-handled YCS, I'm hearing khuk voices again.

MUST RESIST! :eek:

You think you guys had problems passing it up, I was sitting there eyeing it when the call came taking it away. THEN once it was sold, I picked it up and fondled it. Not bad. 20" is more my size than 25" but I could make do with the 25". Kind of an industrial strength version of the 20". Nothing like the 30" Sirupati I keep for swinging to pull my back into place
