Here's a 16.5", 1.5 lb, WWII, horn handle by Bura. Only thing I can spot is I think there was once a little rust on the blade but it's been taken off by Vikash. One minute on buffing wheel or five minutes with 2 or 3 thousand grit sandpaper brings it back to magic mirror finish. Everything else is fine.

Scabbard old style but pretty good leather and nicely tooled. Standard 100 year Hi superfrog.

We'll deliver this rig to your door for $75. Pala is going to break us.

Call or email if interested.

Welcome John!

You just been given HIKV along with your new khuk. You won't mind tho'
Be on the look out for Tsimi. It's always good to know who to be watchful for in a new place.:p :barf:

I think I had HIKV from just perusing the forum 2x a week. Once the kukri is in hand, I'm sure we're talking about rapid progression to terminal stage (judging from everyone's posts on their addictive nature.)

Obtaining a Bura-made khukuree is almost guaranteed to be laced with a particularly strong strain of HIKV though.....

(I think Bura-khukurees have a variant form of HIKV which induces an addiction to Bura-made khuks in particular...(B)HIKV??)

Yup!!!! But I don't believe it's limited to just Bura.:p  ;)

Welcome to the Cantina John. We can never have to many khukuri knuts here.:D

Bura gets more special requests than anybody but every kami that every worked or now works at BirGorkha had and/or has a following. Some guys ask for Kesar, Sher, Sanu. When Murali and Kumar were there they had requests for work, too. All of them. That's because every one of them is/was very, very good. BirGorkha demands the best, pays the best and gets the best.

There's something about a 16.5" WW2 made by Bura that feels comforting as a good 4" bbl 357.

Bura stutters once in awhile --usually when his wife is leaning over the balcony screaming at him. One of his wives, I should say more correctly.
